The rules for using nxtQuest, in plain language.
nxtQuest is operated by Set Fire to Digital Media GmbH, Borsigstr. 15, 24145 Kiel, Germany ("we"). By creating an account or using nxtQuest you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
nxtQuest lets you practise interviews, presentations and similar conversations with AI-generated characters and receive an AI-generated feedback report. It is for personal practice and training only. You must not use nxtQuest or its outputs to evaluate real job candidates, employees or students, or to make or support any recruitment, employment, promotion, disciplinary or educational-assessment decision about any person. A practice report is not an assessment of anyone's suitability.
The interviewers you speak with are synthetic: AI-generated video, voice and text, not real people. Feedback, scores and suggestions are generated by AI, can be wrong or incomplete, and come with no guarantee about the outcome of any real interview, application or presentation. Use your own judgement.
Sessions are recorded (video, audio and transcript) so we can provide playback and your report. You are told before each session starts. You can delete a session, with its recording and report, at any time. How recordings are processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You must provide accurate information and may use nxtQuest only if you are able to enter a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account.
nxtQuest has a free plan with monthly limits and paid plans with higher limits. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel; you can cancel at any time from your settings (billing portal) and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before you pay and include taxes where required. Promotion codes may be limited in time or number. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Statutory withdrawal and consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
nxtQuest is evolving. Some features may be in early access, may change, and may be withdrawn. We may update or discontinue parts of the service, and if we make a material change to a paid feature we will tell you.
You keep your rights in what you provide (CVs, notes, recordings, files). You give us permission to process it, including through the providers described in the Privacy Policy, solely to run the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models ourselves. Only upload material you are allowed to use, and avoid including other people's personal data unless you have a good reason to.
You may create Characters to practise with, including characters that play a role such as a known type of interviewer. You must not configure a Character to deceptively or unlawfully impersonate a real person, or to harass or defame anyone.
Do not use nxtQuest for anything unlawful; to abuse, harass or sexually target the AI characters or others; to upload malware; to scrape or reverse engineer the service; to circumvent limits or security; or to resell access. Sessions that become abusive may be ended by the AI character, and accounts that repeatedly breach these terms may be suspended or closed.
nxtQuest, its software, design and the AI characters' appearance belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or under product-liability law. Subject to that, we are liable for breaches of essential obligations only to the extent of the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract, and otherwise not for slight negligence. The service is a practice aid provided without any guarantee of results.
You can stop using nxtQuest and delete your account any time (email support@nxtquest.ai). We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you habitually live continue to apply. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is our registered seat. We may update these terms; we will show the date below and, for material changes, tell you in advance. Questions: support@nxtquest.ai.
